Peanut Butter Blossoms are so perfectly flavorful with their chewy peanut butter cookie base and Hershey's Kisses Milk Chocolate Candy layered on top!
*Ingredients:
°150g all-purpose flour
°125 g whole wheat flour
°1 teaspoon of baking soda
°1/2 teaspoon of salt
°115 g soft butter (one stick)
°150g crunchy-peanut butter
°100 g brown sugar
°1 egg
°2 tsp vanilla extract
° sugar or other coarse-grained sugar
°Hershey kisses
* Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 350 F (180 C) hot air
Prepare two baking sheets; Parchment or silpat paper
Combine the flour, salt and baking soda in a first bowl.
Beat the butter with an electric whisk, then the peanut butter ...
and finally the sugar. The mixture will turn pale.
Finally add the egg and the vanilla extract
Once the mixture is homogeneous add the contents of the first bowl (flour)
Do not over mix.
Shape into balls about 3 cm in diameter. If the dough is too soft, refrigerate it a bit.
Roll the meatballs in the sugar, then arrange them on the baking sheets.
Bake one baking sheet at a time for about ten minutes.
Unwrap each Hershey kisse. Grrrrrrrrr ..... Screugneugneu ...
The balls will slightly sag and "crack".
Take out the plate.
Apply a chocolate to each cookie, pressing gently to push it down a little.
Return to oven for two minutes.
Take out of the oven, cool completely before storing the cookies because the chocolate will stay soft for a very long time!
