Amish-white-bread



This simply to using recipe will give you soft & light breadcrumbs. This bread fits well into easy and economical Amish traditions.

*Ingredients :

° 2 cups of hot water at 110 ° F (45 ° C)
° 2/3 cup sugar
° 1 1/2 c. active dry yeast
° 1 1/2 c. salt
° 1/4 cup vegetable oil
° 6 cups of bread flour

* Preparation steps:

Preparation: 20 minutes ›Cooking: 40 minutes› Additional time: 1 hour and 30 minutes Rising ›Ready: 2 hours and 30 minutes
Melt the sugar in hot water and add the yeast. We let it to leaven begins to forme foam.
Pour salt & oil to baking powder, & adding flour 1 C at time. Knead dough on lightly floured surface To soft & light. Placing ball in  well-oiled bowl & roll ball to lubricate it. Covering bowl with  damp cloth & let dough ferment for an 1 h , to double in size.
Crushing dough with your fist to release air, knead it then cutting it in half. Shape every half of dough to  loaf of bread & place in 2 well oiled 9 x 15 inch (23 x 38 cm) molds. Permit dough rise about  other 30 min, or to dough is no more than 1 inch (2.5 cm) high in pans.
Baking at 350 ° F (175 ° C) about 30 min.
