*Ingredients :
+For the bottom:
1 and 3/4 (440 mL) all-purpose flour
1/2 cup (125 mL) sugar
3/4 cup (190 mL) cold butter
For the top layer:
2/3 cup (165 mL) brown sugar
1/3 cup (85 ml) + 1 tbsp flour
4 eggs 1 tbsp vanilla extract
1/2 tsp salt
1 & a half C (375 mL) maple-syrup
2 cups (500 mL) coarsely chop pecans
* Methods :
Line a 9 × 13 Pyrex dish with a sheet of parchment paper. Preheat oven 330 ° F (162 ° C).
In a bowl, combine 1 cup (3/4) of the flour and 1/2 cup of the sugar. Add the butter and cut it roughly.
You can put it at PULSE in the blender. It’s normal that it makes a few clods. They are good mottons.
Press the mixture into the bottom of the pyrex dish. Bake for 20 minutes, remove from oven, and pour top layer (next step).
During this time :
In a bowl, combine the flour and brown sugar.
Whisk in the eggs, then the vanilla, salt and syrup. Let the mixture sit for about 15 minutes while waiting for the base of the bars to bake in the oven. Mix occasionally.
Add the pecans and mix. Pour the mixture over the base of the bars. Bake for another 40-50 minutes or until cooked through. Removed from the oven.
Let cool to room temperature, and then put in the refrigerator for a few hours before eating. Cut into a bar.
Enjoy!
