Delicious beef stew



This slow cooker recipe with beef cubes is easy to prepare, the meat is very tender and the sauce is delicious!

*Ingredients :

°1 pound of boneless beef, diced
°3 celery sticks, cut into cubes
°3 large carrots, sliced
°2 sweet-potatoes, peel also cut to small pieces
°1/2 cup (125 ml) red, green, or yellow peppers (to taste)
°2 cloves minced garlic
°1 bay leaf
°2 tablespoons fresh or dried thyme
°1/4 cup (65 ml) flour
° 2 tsp olive oil (divided)
°1/2 tsp kosher salt
°3/4 tsp black pepper
°2 1/2 cups (625 ml) low-sodium beef broth
°1/2 cup (125 ml) red wine
°1/4 c (65 ml) parsley (for garnish

* Methods :

Sprinkle the meat with salt and pepper. Put the flour in a bowl. Dip the cubes in the flour until they are well covered. Heat the oil in a large saucepan over high heat. Brown the meat on all sides and remove from the heat. We don't want to cook it at this point, only to sear it. Add beef and remaining ingredients to slow cooker. Bake on low heat for 6 to 8 hours. Remove the bay leaf before serving.
